1        Zoom Setup: What You Need

 

- A stable internet connection

- A laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone

- A quiet, private space where you won't be interrupted

- The Zoom app (free) installed on your device

- Headphones or earbuds (optional, but recommended for privacy and sound quality)

 

2. How to Join a Zoom Session

 

- You'll receive a Zoom link by email

- Click the link 5 minutes before your session starts

- If prompted, enter the Meeting ID: 620 948 5521

- If there is a password, enter it (this will be included in your session invite)

- Wait in the virtual waiting room until your session begins

- Make sure your microphone and camera are turned on

 

3. Disclaimer for Online Counselling

 

Please note: While I take every measure to ensure your privacy and confidentiality during online sessions, no platform is 100% secure. Zoom is GDPR-compliant and widely used in the healthcare and mental health sectors, but clients are responsible for ensuring that their own environment is private and secure.

Sessions are never recorded without express written consent. You are encouraged to use

headphones and attend sessions in a space where you feel safe and free from interruptions.

 

4. Back-Up Plan If Disconnected

 

If the Zoom call drops due to internet issues

- Wait 2-3 minutes and try rejoining using the same link

- If it still doesn't work, I will try to contact you via:

- Phone or WhatsApp (if you've consented to this)

- We can either:

- Reconnect via Zoom

- Move the session to phone if needed

- Or reschedule without penalty
